True abundance is not about gathering more things, it about touching the place in us that is connected to the divine source of abundance, so that we know what we need in the moment will be provided.
Mary Manin Morrisey
Sometimes we confuse the word abundance with having a lot of things. Sometimes we may think we are not abundant if we don’t have a lot of things. Abundance has nothing to do with the amount things you have. Abundance is based on our need not our want.
I am saying this for myself today. I had a challenging day yesterday where I was constantly challenged by breakdowns. Over and over all day long I received information that challenged my knowing that everything is ok. Difficult moments can so easily throw me into a space where I beat myself up and make me want to shrivel up. It’s interesting to see what I wrote about yesterday and then what showed up for me. I felt defeated.
So I here I am writing today and to tell you the truth I didn’t want to write. I was thinking maybe I should take a hiatus. The truth is that I am having a challenging time and if I stop writing then I am defeated. So I’m dusting myself off and I am moving forward. I am putting some space between whats happening and my center. I am not the circumstances in my life; I am the light that pulls me forward. I am abundant. I am grateful for knowing that in this moment.
