Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
Whatever it is you want to try; please try it. Don't wait for the right moment. The moment is now. You are creating your adventure and maybe you forgot that this is supposed to be an adventure. And when I say adventure I mean- FUN, yes life is fun and exciting and if you aren't experiencing fun and excitement then you might be caught in the struggle and fight of life. If you are experiencing heaviness then you might want to take a step back and look at your life as if from a mountain top. In the big scheme of things- what you are experiencing is a blip on the timeline which is called your life. And please don't hear that as a disregard for your pain. I just want you to change the lens from which you are looking through and find a new focus for your focus. What good is happening in your life and what blessings are happening all around you? They are there just look for them. Look for the smiles and the moments of joy. Breathe that in and know that it can be yours. You really can have a life that is overflowing with joy and abundance. Add some play to your life and see what happens. Do the thing that you said you would never do. Just do and stop doubting. Get into action and let me know what happens.
Today I am grateful for all of the resources and wonderful and teachers in my life.
manifestation from thoughts
"Creation is always happening. Every time an individual has a thought, or a prolonged, chronic way of thinking, they're in the creation process. Something is going to manifest out of those thoughts" - Michael Beckwith
So what are you creating? If your thoughts are actually manifesting the things in your life then hmmm well, I guess the question is- how is your life looking? It's really amazing when you think about it- that we have total freedom to create any life we want. The canvas is blank and we create what we want on it every day. If only we could realize this. The struggle and difficulty arise because we forget. If you are experiencing any angst in your life its because you are resisting what is and what you created. The good news is that you don't have to paddle upstream anymore. That's my favorite analogy for the struggle we feel in life. You don't have to fight the current. You can turn your boat around and enjoy the natural current which is always there. I know for myself that I am the most stressed and discontent when I am in my own way. So I have to say "get out of the way" and stop resisting change and be willing to do the scary thing. You know when you do the scary thing, like call the person you're scared to call or attempt something for the first time- you always feel like you accomplished something after. You walked through the fear. So these thoughts that you are having that isolate you or tell you that you are not good enough- well toss them aside and start replacing them with thoughts of your strength and desires and fill yourself with bliss for the work of art that you are going to paint called "your life". You really do have the power to turn your boat around.
Keep your mind occupied with the good stuff. My new website will be up soon and I will have a whole resource section for books, movies, websites and anything else that I can think of that will help you strengthen this new muscle. It's a journey and a daily practice to keep yourself engaged in living a peaceful existence. I am here to help in anyway I can.
And as my favorite trainer says- if it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you.
Thank you Serona. I'm grateful for you today.
A New Perspective
“loving people live in a loving world.hostile people live in a hostile world.same world.”
Wayne W. Dyer
Everything you could ever want is right before you. The question is what do you choose to see and how do you respond. In one of my classes I shared an analogy that fits this perfectly. Let's pretend that I am organizing a scavenger hunt but this won't be your ordinary scavenger hunt. This will be more like an emotional scavenger hunt where you are going to look for things like; someone laughing hysterically, two people in a warm embrace, someone helping someone else, another person with a look of joy in their eyes and so on. I would say at the end of this hunt that you would most likely be filled with joy and happiness yourself yet nothing really happened to you. You were just out in the world looking for these items on your list. And I bet I could give you a similar list with things like; find someone who's yelling and
another who is hurting someone and so on and so forth. You would most likely feel unhappiness and angst at the end of that hunt. So what does this tell us. It's the same world and the same circumstances yet the only thing that has changed is what you were looking for. It really comes down to our perspective of what we are choosing to see.
Today look for love and laughter and may you be filled up and spill over. That's the kind of day I'm talking about, go out and find it and let me know what you find. Life is so so so good!
