"There's enough for everyone. If you believe it, if you can see it, if you act from it, it will show up for you. That's the truth" - Michael Beckwith
Somewhere along the line we were taught that there was not enough. We have adopted this way of life that you have to claw and scratch your way to the top. And if you aren’t doing that then you have resigned to coming out on top. Is this your truth? Have you thought this way? Do you believe that there is limited supply?
All good questions and if you run with the masses most of the answers would be yes. Is it the truth? What is the truth? We believe so many things that we don’t question. I think that we live in an abundant universe. If you aren’t feeling that it’s because your perception of the things around you is skewed. It’s all about your perception. Someone living in below poverty can have an abundant perception where as someone with material wealth can feel lack. Circumstances will not dictate our perception of the world around us.
If I said to you, “take a deep breath” would your first thought be, “I hope there is enough air?” No, probably not. There is plenty right? But when it comes to our desires and our hopes, we are quick to limit ourselves.
In my life I have been vacillating between the two worlds. I feel abundant and then I feel lack. My pendulum is swinging and I think as I keep doing my work my ego wants to hold on to the fear like a warm blanket. I am moving forward and right now I feel like I’m in an ugly stage. They say that’s when you grow the most.
I am grateful for my new meditation class. I am looking forward to exploring meditation and sharing its benefits.
