By having a practice that’s yours, and that you employ everyday -you will change your life.
By not writing every day, I can see how my mind begins to start working to pull me away. I have had moments of thinking to myself…“no one really reads it” or “I'm not good enough.” It just reinforces the importance of a daily practice. This writing is for me to get better at expressing myself and to become a really great life coach. That’s where I have to live from and that’s what I must focus on. Change doesn't accidentally happen. Change takes determined thought and action.
I also live in a whimsical world of anything is possible and I believe that. I believe that exactly the perfect thing shows up when you are available to receive it. And I believe that you have to practice every day and be still every day to be able to receive.
We are very easily distracted so it takes a great amount of strength to stay on target. Being sick the last week has been a challenge. When I am sick I seem to always have a sinus infection which immediately makes it extremely difficult for me to think and read. I have to just be still. I fight it internally trying to plan my escape route always losing only to find myself back where I started- unable to think my way out of it. What a great lesson there is in being sick and I get to re-learn it every time.
It just feels good to be writing. It feels good to have a voice. I hope that can fine tune your practice. I hope that you feel inspired to carve out some time for yourself to create the life that you have always wanted. As always I am here for feedback and support.
Today I am grateful for my health.
