Resistance is futile. Resistance breeds more muck so to speak. I think about the moments when I have resisted what is and fought to keep something the same. It's never pretty.
I liked this quote because it made me take a deep breath. It made me stop and remember that this life of mine is ever changing. It's fluid and the more I live into that, the more peace I feel inside. I'm just here to remind you that that peace lives in all of us. The stillness awaits us but we must take the first step. We must silence our mind and be still. The voice that says you can't is the oak. Stop resisting if at least for this moment. Bring to mind one thing to be grateful for and just take a minute to be still with that thought.
Today I am grateful for my opportunities in both work and school. They challenge me to be better.
